Biography
Stefan Zathammer studied Classical Philology and Law at the University of Innsbruck and Canon Law at the Catholic Faculty of Lignano, earning his PhD with an annotated bilingual edition of the school drama Sanctus Ingenuinus (Brixen 1749) by the secular priest Joseph Resch.
After working on various projects, including the ERC funded project Noscemus, he played a key role in establishing the School of Medieval and Neo-Latin Studies in Innsbruck. Since April 2014, he is the Principal Investiagor of the FWF funded project Scanderbegus Latinus at the University of Innsbruck.
