During the week of 26–30 October 2026, we welcomed a visit from Anne-Hélène Klinger-Dollé of the University of Toulouse Jean Jaurès. We had the opportunity to engage in a wide range of exchanges with her.

First, during our Weekly Meeting, she presented her online platform “Imago – Lire du latin illustré”. This platform features illustrated Latin texts that have been adapted for use in schools and universities. Next, Klinger-Dollé then gave an evening guest lecture entitled “Studying Philosophy in the Age of Printing and Humanism”. In this talk, she examined texts that Beatus Rhenanus had not only acquired during his studies in Paris, but had also often annotated extensively.

Finally, the same topic was also taken up in a session of our colleague Federica Rossetti’s course. In this very hands-on-oriented seminar, students were introduced to the annotation practices of this renowned humanist and editor of the works of Erasmus of Rotterdam. Everyone at the SRA greatly enjoyed this opportunity for in-depth exchange with our dear colleague from Toulouse.
