On 2^nd July 2026, a group of seven team members visited the library at Stift Wilten to explore the monastery’s collection of Greek materials. The group, brought together by W. Barton under the aegis of the SRA’s Early Modern Classics project, was particularly interested in rare editions of classical works on the library’s shelves, prominent Byzantine authors represented in the collection, and examples of New Ancient Greek works preserved at the monastery.
